Don Delaney is a former Assistant Attorney General from New York who practices family law and family defense litigation in Colorado. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal court.
Early in his legal career he left a prestigious global law firm to be a Public Defender, where he exonerated clients through jury trials and hearings in state District Court. Don became a family law attorney because he cares about helping his clients who are facing life changing events. Today, with over two decades of experience, he is known as a zealous and strategic advocate who works tirelessly to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.
Prior to law school, Don was a Research Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley.
Don is committed to giving back to the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Fort Collins Area Swim Team (FAST). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Larimer County Interagency Oversight Group (LCIOG), whose mission is to maintain and restore community health, safety and well being by partnering with families, victims and communities to provide an integrated, immediate, and efficient continuum of local services for youth, birth to 18.
